Busan Modern History Museum
The Temporary Capital Memorial Hall was opened on June 25, 1984 to commemorate Busan's status and historicity and to fulfill Busan's pride as a temporary capital of the Republic of Korea during the Korean War. The presidential residence, which was the main building at the time of its opening, was a two-story brick building built as a governor's office on August 10, 1926, when the provincial office of Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do moved from Busan to Busan in 1925. It was the place where President Syngman Rhee, the first president of the Republic of Korea, lived during the period (1950 ~ 53).
The Busan Modern History Museum was built in 1929, during the Japanese colonial period, and was initially used as the Busan branch of Dongyang Chuck Co., Ltd., a colonial exploitation organization. Since then, the US Cultural Center was withdrawn due to the constant return of Busan citizens and was returned to the Korean government in 1999. As this building was a symbol of invasion, it was opened as a Busan Modern History Museum and opened on July 3, 2003 to serve as an educational space to inform citizens of our painful history.

Dongheon was the place of the central regional government where the village masters watch the affairs of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).
Dongnae is a military and diplomatic city, so Dongheon built here is more grand than anywhere else.
Dongnae-eupseongseong Fortress is Busan's designated monument No. 5, the center of Dongnaebu in the Joseon Dynasty.
It was built in the form of Pyeongsanseong, including the high and low hills and the Dongrae area where the southern gate was located in the flat area, from Mt. Dongnae-eup Castle has been a castle since the Samhan era, and there is a record that the castle was repaired in 1021 (12 years old). Afterwards, the castle was repaired in preparation for frequent invasion by dwarfs and the castle was managed by a third-party vice. During the Japanese colonial period, the flat land was restored to its former state, with the restoration of the north gate, the restoration of the life gate, the east pole, the west pole, and the north pole.
War General's Command Post
Bukjangdae
Since ancient times, Korea has built castles in each village as a defense against foreign enemies. In 1387, after building Dongnae-eup in order to prevent the waggu, many collapsed during the Imjin War. In 1731, Dong Eun-sub, Jung Dong-seop, rebuilt the castle much larger in consideration of the importance of Dongnae, the gateway to the country. The north pole, which was one of the Dongrae eupseong poles, was built on Zhongshan in 1737 (Yongjo 13) and moved to this place 20 years later. However, the pole was lost and was restored in 1999. The North Pole was at the highest point north of the city, making it easy to command troops inside and outside the city.
